This page explains how Lincolnshire Rewilding Network uses information from website forms, QR sign-ups, member accounts, event bookings and emails to info@rewildinglincolnshire.co.uk.

What we collect

We collect the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, phone number, and any address, postcode or approximate area you choose to provide, whether you have land to rewild, interests, messages, membership details, event booking details and any posts or photos submitted in the members area.

Different forms, different purposes

The email-updates form is used only for the updates you select. The land and project enquiry form is used to answer that enquiry and does not subscribe you to marketing. The membership form creates and administers a member account; network news is a separate choice on that form.

Land, garden and project details

If you choose to share them, membership details may include a site or project name, approximate postcode and area, a site description, rewilding approach, website or social media details, volunteering and visiting preferences, and a separate public contact email. These details stay private unless you explicitly agree to discuss a map listing or public contact route. Nothing is added to the public map automatically.

Why we collect it

We use this information to reply to enquiries, manage membership and events, send requested updates, understand local rewilding interest, keep basic records and protect the website. We rely on consent where you ask us to contact you or send updates, and legitimate interests for administration, security and responding to enquiries.

Analytics

The website records simple page-view analytics, including whether a visit came from a QR link such as wrenmail.online/register-interest. This may include the page path, source, IP address and browser details. We do not use advertising trackers. Essential cookies are used only for admin and member login sessions.

Storage and access

Sign-up, membership and event details are stored in a private website database and shown only in the password-protected admin area. Email sent to info@rewildinglincolnshire.co.uk is handled through Microsoft 365. Website hosting, DNS, fonts, maps and other technical providers may process limited technical data needed to deliver the site. We do not sell personal information.

Member community names

Approved posts, photos and comments are visible to signed-in members. They show the community display name chosen by the member, or a privacy-safe first name and surname initial when no alias is set. Account names, email addresses and moderation notes are not shown beside community content; administrators can still see account details for moderation.

Account security emails

New member accounts require an email-verification link. Password-recovery and verification links are time-limited, single-use and stored by the website only in a one-way protected form. The email service receives the destination address and message content needed to deliver those account emails.

Online payments

When online payments are enabled, Stripe securely processes card and billing details. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout and are not stored by this website. We keep the email address used for the payment, contribution amount, payment status and limited Stripe reference IDs needed to match payments, manage recurring contributions and resolve support queries.

Removing your details

To ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your details, to unsubscribe, or to object to how your information is used, email info@rewildinglincolnshire.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.
